Your memories are yours.

Travel Legacy is built around your ownership of your information. This is how we collect, use, and protect it — written plainly, and growing as the platform does.

Your memories belong to you

Travel Legacy helps people discover, preserve, and reflect on the journeys that shaped who they became. We believe your memories, reflections, and travel experiences belong to you. This policy explains, in plain language, how information is collected, used, stored, shared, and protected when you use Travel Legacy.

Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to hold your reflections and provide the service.

Information you provide

  • Name and email address
  • Account information
  • Trips, memories, photos, and reflections
  • Travel preferences
  • Feedback and communications with Travel Legacy

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser information
  • IP address and approximate location
  • Usage, log, and session data
  • Diagnostic information

Waitlist information

  • Name (optional)
  • Email address, used only to communicate about access

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide the service and maintain your account
  • Generate Travel Identity™ experiences
  • Improve platform performance and reliability
  • Respond to support requests and communicate updates
  • Protect security and comply with legal obligations

Ownership of your content

You retain ownership of your trips, memories, photos, reflections, and personal content. Travel Legacy does not claim ownership of your content. You grant only the limited license necessary to store, process, and display it back to you as part of providing the service.

AI and generated content

Travel Legacy may generate Travel Identity™ narratives, reflection content, and pattern summaries. These outputs are generated interpretations — they are not facts, and they do not replace your memories. If your memory conflicts with AI-generated content, your memory prevails.

How we share information

Travel Legacy does not sell your personal information. Travel Legacy does not broker your personal information.

  • We do not share personal reflections with third parties for advertising
  • We do not use your reflections to train public models
  • We share information only with service providers who help operate the platform, or when required by law

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help the site function and improve your experience. Travel Legacy may use cookies for essential operations (authentication, security, session management), performance (reliability, error monitoring), and aggregate analytics. We do not use cookies for behavioral advertising, for selling personal information, or to advertise against your memories. Most browsers let you block, delete, or manage cookies, though some features may not function correctly if cookies are disabled.

Your choices

You can request to access, correct, or delete your information at any time, and you may unsubscribe from waitlist communications using the link in any email we send.
